While titanium coated needles have been available for industrial machines for years, Superior Threads has partnered with the Organ Needle Company of Japan to create these titanium-coated Topstitch style needles for home machines. The Superior titanium-coated needles have an ultra thin coat of titanium nitride, they will stay sharper longer due to the ability of the coating to resist abrasion. Topstitch needles provide a slightly longer eye, an exaggerated thread groove and a sharp point, making them perfect for a variety of threads and for stitching through several layers or stitching at high speeds.
